Verso, a Latin word, means to 'turn towards' and is used in other languages to mean a process of transformation.
As part of our vision to 'Create spaces and places for people to encounter Jesus', we know that as people turn towards Jesus, lives, families and communities are transformed.

That's who we are. We’re a church who are focused on becoming more like Jesus by inviting His presence into every part of our lives. We are a church who love to spend time in worship, serving, and living out God’s truth. And we are a church whose passion is to spread Jesus’ love in our neighbourhoods and the world around us, creating spaces and places where people can encounter His transformative power.

In 2023 we took another step towards creating places by launching another site in Hatfield. Not a separate church, but an extension of the Verso family sharing resources, people and a joint vision, and often coming together as one. This was followed by Verso Hemel in 2024 and there are more to come. Check out our site locations and events below:
